John Glacier is an enigmatic London rapper with an inventive style, who's carving her own lane in the male-dominated world of rap. She's just dropped her third single 'Icing', joining forces with skilful electronic producer, Vegyn, best known for his work with Frank Ocean and JPEGMafia. Opening their new tune are arpeggiated electronics that glow like fireflies, followed by a squelchy beat with ground-shaking bass. Characteristic of John Glacier's vocals, her rap is sassy and nonchalant, but she spills words that hit deep, 'Know that they don't like me, they just think I'm pretty icy, think I'm pretty spicy, don't see me as human'. John Glacier's vocals are loaded with bitcrusher, making them murky with distortion. Taken from the debut album SHILOH: Lost For Words, out July 30th on Vegyn's label PLZ Make It Ruins.
